A wind visor is a car accessory that is normally fastened to the front hood, sunroof, and window parts of a car. Visors that are attached to the front hood usually shield a car from damages due to flying fragments. Wind visors attached to the window and sunroof areas are normally used to let fresh air ventilation while keeping the people inside the car sheltered from any elements. While this type of accessory might look very simple and maybe even useless, you have to understand that the front end of a vehicle is highly at risk to damage from any particles or fragments while the car is moving. The effects may vary depending on the speed of your car but it is highly important that you have this kind of protection because a very small particle may become harmful if you are driving fast on the freeway or out on a road trip. The impact from those small, flying particles can cause damages such as dents, ruined paint, and worst, cracked windshields. Dents and ruined paints can of course cause rusts and corrosion while a cracked windshield can obviously distract a driver’s vision, which can create worse scenarios. This is why having a window visor is highly imperative to any car.
